Note: Rev. John Francis Moranvillé (1760-1824) was pastor of St. Patrick’s in Fell’s Point from 1804 to 1823.  The church building at Broadway and Bank Streets, started 10 July 1804 and dedicated 20 Nov. 1807, was at that time (before the Basilica was built) the most imposing church in the diocese.

1858-01-27: (I looked for a Balto Sun death notice for Augustus Clark d. 27 Jan. 1858, but couldn’t find one, from 28, Jan. to 1 Feb.)

 

1859-08-22: Death notice of Susan Clark, Balto. Sun, 25 Aug. 1859, p. 2:

  On Monday, 22s instant, at the residence of her mother, near Timonium, Baltimore county, where she was on a visit, Mrs. SUSAN CLARK, in the 63d year of her age.  Requiescat in pace.

 

1861-12-28: Death notice for Mrs. Ann Whiteford (mother of Susan), Balto. Sun, 30 Dec. 1861, p. 2:

  On the 28th instant, at her residence near Timonium, Baltimore county, Mrs. ANN WHITEFORD, aged 87 years.  May she rest in peace.

  Her funeral will move from the residence at ten o’clock this (Monday) morning, for interment at Govanstown.
